Reports To: Director/ Compliance Head

Tentative Budget: 4-6 LPA. /No Bar for right candidates.

Position: QMS Executive

We are seeking an experienced and proactive QMS Executive with around 4-5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment, preferably electrical panel/switchgear manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the organization’s QMS, ensuring ISO compliance, improving processes, and coordinating quality practices across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and applicable ISO 14001/ISO 45001 requirements.
• Develop, review, control, and update quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions, formats, inspection plans, and quality records.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external surveillance, certification, and customer audits.
• Prepare audit reports; record and track non-conformities, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and closure effectiveness.
• Coordinate QMS implementation with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Testing, Dispatch, Sales, HR, Accounts, and Service teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of design inputs/outputs, design reviews, verification, validation, engineering changes, and customer requirements.
• Monitor supplier evaluation, vendor qualification, incoming-material inspection, material traceability, calibration records, and test reports.
• Monitor process and product quality, including in-process inspections, final inspection, rejection/rework analysis, customer complaints, and quality KPIs.
• Support quality improvement projects using RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous-improvement tools.
• Conduct QMS and ISO awareness training; maintain employee competence and training records.
• Compile data and reports for management review meetings, including audit status, quality objectives, CAPA, customer feedback, and process performance.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Around 4-5 years of hands-on QMS/quality experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred.
• Experience in internal audits, documentation control, CAPA, NCR management, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of HT/LT panel assembly and testing, control-panel wiring, electrical drawings, and schematic reading.
• Experience in electrical panels, switchgear, control panels, or industrial products is strongly preferred.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification and exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen will be an added advantage.
